Free School Meals - What parents should do if they become eligible for FSMs during the summer holiday period
If your circumstances change and you think your child is eligible for free school meals after the schools close for the summer break you need to apply for FSMs using the link below
If you are eligible, you will receive a notification confirming this. During school’s summer holiday period, you will be sent vouchers by Liverpool City Council on a fortnightly basis
We issued vouchers for the 6 week summer holiday period in the last week of term.
On 23rd June we posted, through Royal mail, vouchers for weeks commencing 29th June, 6th July and 13th July.
On 9th June we posted, through Royal mail, vouchers for weeks commencing 15th June and 22nd June.
On Wednesday 22nd May we posted, through Royal Mail, vouchers for weeks commencing 25th May, 1st June and 8th June.
On Thursday 7th May staff hand delivered vouchers for weeks commencing 11th May and 18th May.
On Wednesday 22nd April we posted, through Royal Mail, vouchers for weeks commencing 27th April and 4th May so you should receive these by the end of the week.
Any pupils eligible for Free School Meals should have received a voucher for week commencing 20th April.
You will receive further vouchers in term-time whilst schools are closed and we will update you when then these are being sent out.
Please note that these vouchers are for parents who have applied through Liverpool City Council for Free School Meals and not the Universal free meals which are provided to all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
