Parent Teacher Association

The PTA is an organisation run solely by volunteers to raise money to help the school provide materials, resources and facilities for the benefit of everyone who uses the school by running a variety of events throughout the school year. More importantly, the activities help to bring parents, carers and friends of St Michael's together and promote good communication while working towards a common goal.

New Year

Starting in the New Year there will be several of parenting courses. These will be free.

This years summer fair will take place on Friday 7th July.

Any donations for raffle prizes will be gratefully received but what we need most is offers of help to prepare the fair and to run stalls on the day.

Watch this space for the date of the next P.T.A meeting and come along for a cuppa and a chat about how you can help us.

Race for Life

On Friday 5th May the school children took part in Tesco's Race for Life and raised over £300.

A big thank you to Tesco's for providing fruit and water for the children.

The P.T.A provided refreshments for the parents who came to support the children.

Well done to everyone who took part.

Enjoying the race!

Past events have included Christmas/Summer Fairs, Race Nights, Family Fun Nights and a Red Nose Talent Show.

Money raised has been used for library books, Year leaver t-shirts, subsidise school trips, KS2 Pantomime, games for wet play and much more
